Hindus are also tolerant of all religions. Homam is a type of ceremony which means to light a fire. The Gods of Hinduism are called Deities. Hindus take their shoes off when they enter a temple and can pray either kneeling or standing up in a hall. The Temples represent the human body, the alter is the most important part of the temple representing the head.

Vedas are the main texts of Hindiusm which have been gathered of hundreds of years from different people, most of it is written in Sanskrit which is the holy languageof the Hindus. Most of the texts had been past down by mouth for centuries before it was eventually written down
